About this role

Rehlko is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of generator installation projects across the construction sector. This role is ideal for someone who is commercially driven and enjoys working in a fast-paced, project-focused environment.

You will support the commercial team across a range of post-contract activities, managing project costs through to final account. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and reviewing valuations, applications, and variations, as well as monitoring cost performance and providing accurate financial reporting.

Working closely with both operational and commercial teams, you will help ensure projects are delivered commercially successfully. You will also support procurement activities, including subcontractor negotiation and appointment, and identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a Quantity Surveyor or similar commercial role.
  • Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts (e.g. NEC, JCT).
  • Experience working on M&E or generator / infrastructure projects.
  • Commercially driven with a focus on project value.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, project-focused environment.
