About this role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Transportation Senior Project Manager to join our growing team. This role offers the opportunity to lead multidisciplinary projects that improve mobility, safety, and infrastructure in our communities.
You will manage the design and delivery of transportation projects for local and regional government clients, including roadway, sidewalk, intersection, and multimodal improvements. As Project Manager, you will be responsible for scope, schedule, budget, and client coordination.
You will prepare and oversee development of plans, specifications, and estimates in accordance with FDOT and local standards. You will coordinate with public agencies, utility providers, and permitting authorities, and conduct or oversee traffic analysis, safety studies, and roadway geometry design.

Requirements
- 12+ years experience in civil or transportation engineering.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Florida.
- Demonstrated experience in project management for municipal or county transportation projects.
- Working knowledge of FDOT standards, the Florida Design Manual (FDM), MUTCD, and local agency design criteria.
- Proficiency with MicroStation / OpenRoads, AutoCAD, or similar design software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to lead client interactions.
Responsibilities
- Manage the design and delivery of transportation projects for local and regional government clients, including roadway, sidewalk, intersection, and multimodal improvements.
- Serve as Project Manager for assigned projects—responsible for scope, schedule, budget, and client coordination.
- Prepare and oversee development of plans, specifications, and estimates (PS&E) in accordance with FDOT and local standards.
- Coordinate with public agencies, utility providers, and permitting authorities.
- Conduct and/or oversee traffic analysis, safety studies, and roadway geometry design.
- Provide guidance and technical review for junior engineering staff.
