About this role
Lennar, a Fortune 500® homebuilder, is looking for a Construction Manager to oversee the construction of homes in assigned communities. This role ensures quality control, cost management, and adherence to schedules, while building zero defect homes and providing exceptional customer service.
Day-to-day, you will manage all construction activities from inception to move-in, conducting twice-daily home walks to monitor progress and uphold quality standards. You will supervise trade partners, negotiate solutions with inspectors, and manage daily communications and invoice approvals through Build Pro.
You will collaborate with internal teams including sales, customer care, and management to ensure effective communication and problem resolution. Maintaining job site cleanliness, safety, and compliance with State & Federal building codes is a key part of the role, along with performing Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan inspections.

Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred, or 3-5 years' experience in home building/construction.
- Experience in residential construction management required.
- Strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills.
- Tech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office, Build Pro, Procore, and other construction management software.
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- Valid auto insurance coverage.
- Knowledge of construction practices, building codes, and safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all construction activities from inception to move-in, managing job sites, scheduling, and supervising trade partners to ensure adherence to project timelines and scopes of work.
- Conduct twice-daily home walks to monitor progress, uphold quality standards, and maintain schedule compliance while optimizing profitability.
- Negotiate solutions raised by inspectors and trade partners, ensuring cost-effective resolutions that support budget adherence.
- Manage daily trade partner communications and invoice approvals through Build Pro, ensuring timely notifications and accurate payment processing.
- Ensure job site cleanliness, safety, and adherence to State & Federal building codes to mitigate compliance risks.
- Perform Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan inspections as required by County, State & Federal guidelines and maintain accurate records.
- Oversee pre-construction meetings, pre-drywall meetings, and final presentation meetings with trade partners.
- Collaborate with internal teams including sales, customer care, and management to ensure effective communication and problem resolution.
