
About this role
Ulteig is seeking a Project Manager for the Power Lifeline Sector to lead engineering projects from initiation through close-out. This role focuses on medium-to-large size projects, ensuring cost-effective execution in accordance with contract requirements and standards.
Day-to-day responsibilities include managing scope, stakeholder expectations, schedule, budget, and quality. You will lead internal and external project meetings, develop project plans with risk mitigation strategies, and monitor progress to keep deliverables on track.
You will function as the key representative for clients, providing regular updates and addressing concerns. Collaboration is central—you will manage a project team, coach members, resolve conflicts, and maintain effective working relationships across disciplines.
This position offers the opportunity to provide strategic management and leadership on multiple significant power infrastructure projects. You will contribute to a collaborative environment focused on quality, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Proven ability to lead medium-to-large engineering projects from initiation through close-out.
- Competent in analyzing problems, identifying alternative solutions, and implementing recommendations.
- Excellent leadership and verbal/written communication skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and customer focus to meet or exceed client expectations.
- Experience managing project budgets and controlling costs.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage conflict.
- Commitment to quality standards and adherence to governance policies.

- Monitor project progress and budgets, taking corrective actions to keep projects on schedule and within cost.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure technical aspects of the project are properly managed.
- Ensure best practices are shared and implemented effectively across projects and teams.
