About this role

This role oversees all on-site construction activities for townhouse and villa developments, ensuring execution aligns with approved drawings, specifications, and company quality standards. The Construction Manager monitors project progress against schedules and implements corrective actions to keep work on track.

Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing structural, architectural, MEP, and finishing works while coordinating with consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders. Regular site meetings are conducted to review progress, resolve technical issues, and align action plans with project milestones.

The Construction Manager works closely with QA/QC teams to verify workmanship and resolve non-conformities, and collaborates with safety teams to monitor HSE measures and incident reporting. This role also reviews contractor programs, recovery plans, and resource allocations to ensure effective utilization of manpower, materials, and equipment.

This position offers the opportunity to lead complex residential developments from initiation through handover, supporting management in achieving project objectives and delivery targets. The role provides exposure to high-profile projects with a leading developer in the region.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
Minimum 10–12 years of relevant construction experience, preferably with leading developers or contractors.
Extensive experience in residential developments, including villas, townhouses, and community infrastructure projects.
Proven track record in managing site construction activities from initiation through handover.
Strong experience in structural works, architectural finishes, and contractor management.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple contractors and coordinate with consultants and stakeholders.
Sound understanding of construction methodologies, project controls, quality management, and HSE requirements.

Responsibilities

Monitor project progress against approved schedules and implement corrective actions where required.
Oversee structural, architectural, MEP, and finishing works to ensure timely completion.
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution.
Conduct regular site inspections and quality audits to verify workmanship and adherence to quality requirements.
Monitor implementation of safety measures and conduct regular site safety inspections.
Prepare and submit weekly and monthly progress reports to senior management.
