About this role

This contract role with Cushman & Wakefield focuses on cost management and contract administration for construction projects. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for preparing and verifying cost estimates, including submissions from subcontractors and vendors.

Day-to-day tasks include managing financial projections, budgeting, and expenditure control, as well as preparing monthly payment claims and final accounts with complete supporting documentation. You will also conduct site measurements and evaluate work done for payment claims and certifications.

You will work closely with project teams to review tender specifications, evaluate submissions, and support contract documentation. The role requires assessing and verifying star rates to ensure alignment with fair market pricing, maintaining and analysing cost data for future procurement reference.

Requirements

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field
  • 3 years of relevant experience in cost estimation and contract administration
  • Preferably a member of the Singapore Institute of Surveyors and Valuers
  • Knowledge of tendering, cost control, and contract documentation
  • Experience in preparing payment claims and final accounts
  • Ability to conduct site measurements and evaluate work progress
  • Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented with good communication skills
