About this role

QA Build is seeking an experienced and reliable skilled labourer/carpenter to assist with handovers of residential builds at our Moreton Bay site. This hands-on, practical work provides consistent hours to ensure we deliver homes to our residents on time and to the highest standard.

Daily responsibilities include assisting trades with carpentry and general construction tasks, using hand and power tools as required. You will also maintain a clean, safe, and organised site while supporting the team to deliver high-quality homes on schedule.

This casual role offers above-award hourly rates with overtime opportunities and weekly pay. There is potential to move into full-time employment, and you'll play a key role in delivering high-end residential communities for a fast-growing, dynamic company.

Requirements

  • Previous carpentry, construction, or carpentry labouring experience
  • Strong work ethic and reliability
  • Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
  • Valid White Card, driver’s licence, and own transport
  • Positive attitude and willingness to pitch in
  • Certificate III in Carpentry (preferred but not essential)

Responsibilities

  • Assist trades with carpentry and general construction tasks
  • Use hand and power tools as required
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised site
  • Support the team to deliver high-quality homes on schedule
  • Perform touch-ups and finishing work during the home handover process
  • Load and unload materials and equipment as needed
  • Assist with framing, formwork, and installation of fixtures
