About this role

As a Metal Framing/Drywall Apprentice Carpenter with Findorff, you'll gain hands-on experience working alongside experienced professionals to build and finish interior and exterior spaces. This is an excellent opportunity to learn the carpentry trade while contributing to meaningful projects.

Your day-to-day involves assisting with framing walls using metal studs and track, installing drywall and exterior sheathing, and measuring and handling materials under journeyman guidance. You will maintain a clean and safe work environment while following instructions and asking questions to grow your skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with framing interior and exterior walls using metal studs and track
  • Help install drywall and exterior sheathing
  • Measure, cut, and handle materials under the guidance of journeymen carpenters
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Follow instructions and ask questions to grow your skills
  • Exhibit consistent awareness for personal safety and the safety of co-workers
  • Use appropriate PPE at all times, including safety glasses, hearing protection, and high-visibility gear
  • Lift and handle materials up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
