About this role
Essence Project Management is an employee-owned consultancy delivering landmark projects across Australia. As a Graduate Project Manager, you will join an 18-month program designed to equip you with the skills and experience needed to transition into permanent employment.
You will work within a team of project managers, moving between projects, teams, and managers to fit your development plan and business goals. Your work will span the full lifecycle of a project across sectors including Healthcare, Education, Hotels & Hospitality, Commercial, Build to Rent, Residential, Heritage, Retirement & Seniors Living, Retail, Social, and Sustainable Design.
You will be supported by a dedicated program team, receive continuous constructive feedback, and be mentored by leading industry professionals. A buddy will be allocated to you for regular check-ins, and you will have access to workshops held by leading consultants on topics such as planning, services design, sustainability, architecture, and fire engineering.
This role offers the opportunity to develop proficiency in project management, client representation, superintendency, and design management. You will become an integral part of a collaborative team that actively contributes to the success of landmark projects across Australia.
Requirements
- Tertiary level qualification or in your final year of study within Building & Construction, Project Management, Civil Engineering, or Architecture
- Strong aspirations to learn and grow within the industry
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Willingness to move between projects and sectors as part of the development plan
- Commitment to completing the 18-month graduate program
Responsibilities
- Work within a team of project managers to manage projects and help clients transform and reinvigorate landmark locations
- Move between projects, teams, and managers to fit your development plan and business goals
- Gain exposure to different industry sectors including Healthcare, Education, Hotels & Hospitality, Commercial, and more
- Participate in the full lifecycle of a project, undertaking diverse roles and responsibilities
- Develop proficiency in project management, client representation, superintendency, and design management
- Attend workshops held by leading consultants on key topics such as planning, services design, sustainability, architecture, and fire engineering
- Receive continuous feedback and targeted development support through a structured performance feedback process
