About this role
We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our Commercial team in Crawley, responsible for the commercial and contractual management of contracts across major infrastructure projects. This role ensures delivery in line with requirements, budgets, and risk controls while protecting Vision Survey's commercial position.
Day-to-day, you will administer contracts including NEC4 ECC, ECS, PSC and bespoke forms, manage Compensation Events, and prepare applications for payment. You will also oversee subcontract and supply chain management, from tender analysis to final accounts, ensuring rigorous contractual compliance.

Requirements
- Minimum of five years' experience on the contractor side of infrastructure projects
- Proven expertise managing NEC contracts (NEC4 ECC, ECS, PSC and bespoke forms)
- Strong commercial judgement and ability to work collaboratively with project teams and clients
- Experience maintaining auditable contractual and commercial records
- Ability to ensure compliance with contractual procedures, notices, and timescales
- Experience preparing and assessing quotations including Defined Cost, risk allowances, and programme impact
- Chartered professional status (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Administer contracts, including NEC4 ECC, ECS, PSC and bespoke forms
- Identify, notify, manage, and assess Compensation Events in accordance with clause 60
- Prepare applications for payment in line with payment schedules and ensure compliance with the Construction Act payment regime
- Prepare tender documents, analyse returns, and support procurement of subcontracts and supply chain
- Draft, review, and administer subcontracts and purchase orders, including assessing and certifying subcontractor applications for payment
- Prepare forecasts and cost reports, and maintain commercial risk registers
- Support negotiation and agreement of Compensation Events and ensure Early Warnings are raised and managed in line with clause 15
