You’ll monitor, coordinate, and enforce construction compliance with contract documents, safety regulations, and environmental requirements. Perform daily field inspections to verify work aligns with approved plans and specifications. Identify non-compliant work, take corrective action, and report critical issues or potential delays.
You’ll work alongside project managers, engineers, technologists, and strategists who blend real-world experience with digital innovation and AI. Oversee contractor performance, schedules, and responsiveness while communicating with contractors, clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders. Requirements
- B.S. or higher degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field, or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of experience in construction management, preferably within a data center or mission critical facilities
- 3+ years of senior level construction management or design management experience
- PE, CCM, and/or LEED preferred
- Strong problem-solving abilities to identify issues and propose effective solutions
- Good verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and vendors
- Ability to effectively lead a diverse team of professionals inside of a dynamic team environment
Responsibilities
- Monitor, coordinate, and enforce construction compliance with contract documents, safety regulations, and environmental requirements
- Perform daily field inspections to verify work aligns with approved plans and specifications
- Identify non-compliant work, take corrective action, and promptly report critical issues or potential delays
- Oversee contractor performance, schedules, and responsiveness, documenting all personnel, equipment, and activities
- Influence contractors to meet project goals related to cost, schedule, and quality
- Manage the contractor payment process and recommend adjustments for effective project control
- Maintain and enforce safety and health standards to protect the public and project personnel
- Perform constructability reviews of design plans and ensure approved modifications are reflected in final drawings
