Bricklayer

As an experienced Bricklayer, you will contribute to the provision of good quality rented housing, achievement of high levels of tenant satisfaction, improving landlord and tenant relationships, and protecting health and safety. You will be responsible for carrying out works to any brick or stone work, wall structure, drainage, steps, paths and driveway. Fault find and undertake appropriate remedial works where failure or breach of wall structure, steps, pathway, drainage is linked to water penetration and damp.

Ensure that any wall structure, drainage or pathways remain in reasonable state of repair and any inconvenience to customers is minimised. Part of this role may also require you to carry out specialised work such as scrapes, removal and arrange safe disposal of non-licensable asbestos based textured coatings. Use elements of the skills of other general trades to meet the target of first-time fix where it is efficient and appropriate to do so.
