The Senior Pre-Construction Manager leads regional pre-construction efforts for solar, onshore wind, high voltage, and energy storage projects within EDF Renouvelables' large-scale portfolio. This role coordinates with multidisciplinary teams to assess EPC costs, schedules, and risks, while directing procurement from RFP launch to contract execution.
Working closely with subject matter experts, the role involves reviewing engineering studies, estimating Balance of Plant costs, analyzing constructability risks, and developing project schedules. The manager also supports project acquisition, power purchase agreement negotiations, permitting, stakeholder consultation, and construction transitions.

Requirements
- Proven experience in pre-construction management for large-scale renewable energy projects (solar, wind, storage).
- Strong knowledge of EPC contracting, cost estimation, and risk analysis.
- Ability to read and interpret preliminary design drawings and engineering studies.
- Experience with procurement processes from RFP to contract execution.
- Proficiency in project scheduling and budget management.
- Familiarity with Balance of Plant (BoP) systems in renewable energy.
- Leadership skills to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Manage the regional project portfolio, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to assess EPC costs, schedule, and risks.
- Review and comment on engineering studies and preliminary design drawings.
- Estimate and verify quantity takeoffs on preliminary plans.
- Lead the procurement of EPC construction services from RFP launch to contract execution.
- Perform Balance of Plant (BoP) cost estimation and constructability risk analysis.
- Support project acquisition, power purchase agreement negotiation, permitting, and stakeholder consultation.
- Provide support during construction and transition to asset optimization.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across pre-construction processes.
