About this role

Responsible for activities related to construction, building, and commissioning on customer sites. The Site Manager handles site mobilization through civil, erection, and commissioning work. This position impacts approaches and programs in the functional area with moderate autonomy requiring operational judgment.

Leads site teams and manages execution of the project scope of work. Ensures schedule, quality, and cost compliance with contractual obligations, company policy, and local regulations. The role may involve overseeing multiple sites across phases.

Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience and may lead small projects. This job requires 90% travel across the United States. Uses judgment to solve moderately complex tasks in operational and project management areas.

Contributes toward strategy and policy development within the area of responsibility. Has in-depth knowledge of best practices and integrates with other areas. Explains difficult information and works to build consensus among team members.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in site management, construction, commissioning, or project execution within utility, electrical substation, or related industrial environments
Equivalent experience from hands-on field leadership backgrounds such as site management, electrical construction, or substation operations
High school diploma / GED with substantial relevant experience, or a bachelor’s degree
Relevant field credentials such as Journeyman status, Master Electrician license, OSHA 30, or similar site-based certifications are highly valued
In-depth knowledge of best practices and working knowledge of competition and market factors

Serve as best practice and quality resource with awareness of latest technical developments

Use judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks in operational and project management areas
Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience and lead small projects with moderate risks
Explain difficult or sensitive information and work to build consensus among team members
