About this role

The Construction Site Manager CNR acts as the primary on-site representative of Seaman Corporation during installation of acoustic materials in multi-million square foot distribution facilities. This role ensures successful execution of CNR projects by serving as liaison among customers, contracted installation crews, and internal functional teams. The position demands accountability for addressing issues and providing project oversight.

Day-to-day responsibilities include acting as principal representative at the customer site, leading communication, and overseeing site activities during project initiation, design, planning, and execution. Coordinate returns and expedited rework as necessary while maintaining accurate logs of all issues. Elevate problems to corporate management and implement action plans promptly.

Collaborate with customer site leadership, engineering teams, general contractors, and other trades to execute the installation plan per site CAD drawings and project proposals. Establish and lead stakeholder meetings with site ops, safety, construction engineering leads, and subcontractors. Record meeting minutes and follow up on action items.

Drive continuous improvement of execution phase activities to enable scaling to multiple concurrent sites. Record and review lessons learned, provide bi-weekly briefings on progress and obstacles, and conduct inspections for final sign-off. Be on-call for field communications from installation crews regarding problems or delays.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • At least 3-5 years’ experience
  • Experience acting as on-site representative in construction projects
  • Ability to coordinate with customers, contractors, and internal teams
  • Familiarity with construction site activities and installation oversight
  • Knowledge of acoustic material installation processes
  • Proficiency in reading CAD drawings and project proposals

Responsibilities

  • Act as primary on-site point of contact between Seaman Corporation and the customer for CNR projects
  • Maintain and document accurate log of all issues related to site installation activities and implement action plans
  • Provide bi-weekly briefings to Seaman management on site activities, progress, obstacles, and corrective actions
  • Establish and lead stakeholder meetings with customer site management, recording minutes and following up on action items
  • Support installation of acoustic systems by subcontracted installers as defined by site CAD drawings
  • Ensure acoustic materials arrive on site according to sequencing and timing in the plan
  • Resolve quality defects of Seaman supplied CNR materials and coordinate replacements
  • Conduct inspections and tests to confirm installation meets contractual specifications and perform final sign-off
