About this role

The Senior Project Manager - Construction oversees large-scale construction and redevelopment projects such as transportation facilities (stations, airports, transit hubs), corporate office buildings, and operations command centres. Require at least 10 years of experience in these areas. Integrate Technology Design and Deployment lifecycle with Architectural and Engineering Construction lifecycles.

Manage engineering design and deployment of technology infrastructure specifically for building renovations, re-stacks, relocations, cabling, network, and network systems. Handle day-to-day coordination of these technical elements within construction timelines. Ensure alignment across project phases for efficiency.

Lead integration of multiple technologies including Audio/Visual systems, Content Management Systems, Video Surveillance Systems, and Access Control Systems. Collaborate in a professional environment with strong project management and communication skills. Utilize Microsoft Office for presentations and reporting.

Join a long-term W2 role starting with 3 months hybrid in Washington, DC, converting to remote. Demonstrate PMBOK knowledge with PMP preferred, multi-task under pressure. Advance in managing complex construction technology deployments.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of experience on large-scale construction and redevelopment projects such as transportation facilities, corporate office buildings, and operations command centres
  • Knowledge of how the Technology Design and Deployment lifecycle aligns and integrates with the Architectural and Engineering Construction lifecycles
  • Experience managing Engineering design and deployment of technology infrastructure specifically building renovations, re-stacks, relocations, cabling, network, and network systems
  • Experience managing Engineering design, deployment and integration of multiple technologies such as Audio/Visual systems, Content Management Systems, Video Surveillance Systems, and Access Control Systems
  • Professional demeanour with strong project management, problem-solving and communication skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and presentation skills
  • Demonstrable knowledge of the PMBOK; PMP Certification is preferred
  • Ability to multi-task and to work under pressure
