About this role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead multiple community-scale solar projects from pre-construction through commissioning and closeout. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building high-performing teams.

You will manage the full lifecycle of solar EPC projects, ensuring safe, on-time, and on-budget delivery. Daily tasks include developing schedules, budgets, and resource plans while coordinating with engineering, procurement, construction, and field teams to drive project execution.

As a leader, you will mentor and support project teams, fostering a collaborative and accountable culture. You will partner with senior leadership to improve project management processes and develop scalable delivery programs that support company growth.

This role offers a chance to play a key part in the continued growth of a leading solar EPC organization. You will help shape project execution strategies and contribute to knowledge sharing across the company while building strong stakeholder relationships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Environmental Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of project management experience with at least 3 years supporting solar energy, renewable energy, or related infrastructure projects
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously from planning through commissioning
  • Strong understanding of EPC project delivery methods
  • Proven ability to manage project budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and customer relationships
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with project management software such as Microsoft Project, Procore, Smartsheet, or similar platforms
  • Ability to travel to project sites as needed

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full lifecycle of community-scale solar EPC projects from pre-construction through commissioning and closeout
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and according to contract requirements
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, resource plans, and project documentation
  • Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize schedule and cost impacts
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and field teams to ensure successful project execution
  • Lead, mentor, and support project teams throughout all phases of delivery, fostering a collaborative and accountable culture
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project owners and key stakeholders, providing proactive communication on progress and risks
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and support a strong safety culture
