About this role
Patriot Building Systems, a recognized leader in commercial wood framing, is hiring Carpenters/Framers to join our team in Londonderry, NH. We deliver precision and reliability through a team of highly skilled craftsmen serving New Hampshire, Southern Maine, Vermont, and Northern Massachusetts.
Our Framers are responsible for assisting the carpentry foreman and overseeing the work of apprentices and laborers. Daily tasks include manually securing, moving, assembling, and installing lumber products, as well as operating a variety of woodworking machines and tools to cut, shape, fasten, and install building materials associated with wood framing.
You will coordinate with the carpentry foreman daily, keep the job site organized and clean, and ensure a safe work environment. This role also involves receiving and accounting for all job site materials, ensuring proper storage and use, and assisting in the training of employees.

Requirements
- Preferred GED or equivalent
- Preferred proficiency in reading and writing English
- Preferred knowledge of lumber and engineered wood products
- Knowledge of wood framing anchors and connections and how they are assembled and used in hand frame and panelized buildings
- Ability to operate a variety of woodworking machines and tools
- Ability to comply with and enforce all company policies
- Ability to maintain a positive company image with appropriate language, dress, and behavior
Responsibilities
- Assist with coordination and supervision of other carpentry workmen
- Receive and account for all job site materials and ensure proper storage and use
- Coordinate with carpentry foremen daily
- Fabricate and install basic components required in commercial carpentry framing
- Keep the job site organized and clean
- Maintain and use Personal Protective Equipment at all times and ensure a safe job site
- Provide your own hand tools and belt
- Assist in the training of employees
