Cardo Group is a leading provider of building maintenance and improvement services to social housing providers and public bodies across the UK. With over 1,000 colleagues, we deliver retrofit, responsive repairs, compliance, refurbishment, and more. We seek a skilled Bricklayer to join our Caerphilly team, constructing and repairing structures using bricks and blocks.
The role requires measuring surfaces, mixing mortar, laying bricks in patterns, cutting materials to fit openings, and using tools to shape them. You will repair existing brick structures while following safety procedures. Attention to detail ensures high-quality results in walls, buildings, and chimneys.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an apprenticeship program or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of bricklaying techniques and materials
- Physical stamina and strength to lift and move heavy materials
- Attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Measure and mark surfaces to be covered with bricks or other materials
- Mix mortar and spread it onto surfaces to be covered
- Lay bricks or other materials in rows, patterns, or designs
- Cut or trim bricks and other materials to fit around windows, doors, and other openings
- Use hand and power tools to cut and shape bricks and other materials
- Repair and maintain existing brick structures
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines at all times
