About this role

Australia’s energy system is undergoing the most profound transformation in its history. Transgrid is central to this transition, responsible for planning, delivering and operating the high voltage transmission infrastructure that underpins New South Wales’ shift to a cleaner, more resilient energy future. Seeking a Project Manager with clear accountability for delivery on nationally significant infrastructure projects.

This leadership role focuses on execution, directing multidisciplinary teams and managing complex contractor and stakeholder interfaces. Manage EPC contractors, lead change and risk management, and oversee construction on live sites with outage coordination and safety hold points. Coordinate design, construction, commercial, environmental and regulatory workstreams for alignment.

Deliver clear reporting to senior leadership with forward-looking options and set safety leadership standards through visible participation. Motivated by responsibility, complexity and impact, contribute meaningfully to Australia’s energy future in a role spanning concept to completion.
