About this role

Help us make a difference as a Mobile Plant Operative. Responsible for working in a multi-skilled operational role operating mobile plant and supporting fixed plant processing operations. This takes place within a modern technology-led processing facility that converts waste into sustainable fuel.

The role involves operation of a loading shovel, FLT and 360 grab with training provided where needed. Daily tasks include maintenance and record keeping for mobile plant plus housekeeping across the site. Basic maintenance on fixed process plant is also carried out under direction.

You will work in a manufacturing or processing environment supporting operational activities across the facility. The position suits someone comfortable with plant operations and health and safety requirements in a waste-to-fuel setting.

Requirements

Knowledge of plant operations.
Understanding of health and safety issues.

Good organisational skills.

Responsibilities

Operate a loading shovel with training provided if required.
Operate FLT with training provided if required.
Operate 360 grab with training provided if required.
Carry out daily maintenance and record keeping for mobile plant and plant equipment.
Carry out housekeeping activities in all areas of the site.
Carry out basic maintenance and cleaning on fixed process plant under the direction of Foreman and Site Manager.
