The Carpenter performs a wide variety of carpentry related tasks and projects, including design, construction, installation, and repair work on a variety of surfaces. This role supports facilities at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center with full-time day schedule. Requirements

  • Completion of an approved apprenticeship program or equivalent education/experience
  • 4 years of work experience in commercial construction
  • Driving may be necessary; provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request
  • Work experience in a healthcare facility (preferred)
  • 1 year of cabinetry experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Perform design, construction, installation, and repair work on a variety of surfaces
  • Coordinate with other trades, painter, electrician, on the completion of projects
  • Design and construct small scale remodel projects
  • Install doors, windows, and framing in facility settings
  • Repair drywall, trim, and structural woodwork
  • Build and modify cabinetry and shelving units
  • Maintain building interiors through carpentry tasks
