EnTech is currently seeking a full-time Site Safety Officer with a strong background in construction safety and excellent communication skills. The role focuses on enforcing safety protocols across construction sites. This position ensures compliance and hazard mitigation in dynamic project environments.

Day-to-day involves coordinating with construction project stakeholders, providing on-site safety inspections and instructions to contractors, and performing detailed audits. You will review job hazard analyses, prepare safe work plans per agency guidelines, and conduct incident investigations. Oversight includes client support through routine audits and training.

Requirements

  • Strong background in construction safety
  • Excellent communication skills
  • OSHA 10-Hour Safety Training
  • OSHA 30-Hour Safety Training
  • Familiarity with Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) and Safe Work Plans (SWPs)
  • Experience conducting safety audits and inspections on construction sites

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and communicate with construction project stakeholders
  • Provide safety and life safety hazard inspections and instructions to contractors on site
  • Review contractor's Job Hazard Analysis (JHA)
  • Perform detailed safety audits and safety monitoring of construction sites
  • Prepare Safe Work Plans (SWPs) for upcoming work in conformance with agency guidelines
  • Conduct accident and incident investigations
  • Review project job hazard analysis and daily pre-task plan, conducting project and vendor audits
  • Provide support and oversight to the client, including routine audits and training
