Requirements

CSCS/CSR card
SMSTS qualified
First Aid at Work
Professional qualification
Relevant previous construction experience in commercial, retail, healthcare, education, refurbishment and/or new build
Proven ability to manage and control subcontractors in line with project programme, safety and environmental legislation
Experience managing medium to large scale projects
Knowledge of temporary works coordination

Responsibilities

Demonstrate proven track record of success in safe delivery of high quality medium to large scale projects to budget and programme
Understand the type of building contract and key project stakeholders including client, client’s representatives, and design team
Maintain full understanding of scope of works for each sub-contractor package with access to paper copy of each sub contract order
Liaise with PM and PQS on works not deemed included within the scope of works
Issue permits for various work activities and close out accordingly
Manage utility provisions, diversions, upgrades, and protections via meetings with utility companies
Raise NCR’s for works undertaken that are of poor quality
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety/CDM legislation and act as temporary works coordinator where applicable
