The Carpenter contributes by renovating spaces, rooms, offices and performing maintenance to AHF locations and properties.

The Carpenter enhances AHF's reputation by projecting professional conduct while performing remodeling and repairs to assigned buildings. Communicate properly with hotel managers, staff and direct Facilities supervisor. Be a passionate advocate for top initiatives while keeping AHF Core Values and Mission top of mind.

Work as part of a close-knit team to plan and gather information needed for successful renovation or repair. Use proven experience from previous jobs with knowledge of construction trades. Take care of AHF equipment including trucks, tools and materials.

Perform maintenance and remodelings on properties as directed, traveling from one location to another as required. Accommodate teamwork in solving emergencies by being flexible and maintaining reasonable availability for extended hours. AHF has a collaborative organizational structure where staff are accountable to multiple leaders.

Requirements

  • Proven experience from previous jobs in renovations
  • Knowledge of construction trades
  • Ability to project professional conduct
  • Flexibility for travel between locations
  • Availability for extended hours when needed
  • Capacity to adapt in dynamic environment
  • Skill in maintaining tools, trucks and materials
