Requirements
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
- Proficiency with carpentry tools and equipment
- Knowledge of building codes and industry standards
- Skill in layout and measurement techniques
- Physical ability to handle heavy materials and work at heights
- Understanding of safe work practices in construction environments
- Flexibility to perform tasks in related building trades
Responsibilities
- Plan, lay-out and perform all types of Carpentry work in accordance with all applicable plans, specifications, codes, and industry standards
- Work in other crafts at levels appropriate to training and skills as requested by project supervision
- Install rough framing for structures and buildings
- Build and set concrete forms
- Install doors, windows, and interior trim
- Erect scaffolding and temporary structures
- Repair and replace damaged wooden components
