Requirements

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
Proficiency with carpentry tools and equipment
Knowledge of building codes and industry standards
Skill in layout and measurement techniques
Physical ability to handle heavy materials and work at heights
Understanding of safe work practices in construction environments
Flexibility to perform tasks in related building trades

Responsibilities

Plan, lay-out and perform all types of Carpentry work in accordance with all applicable plans, specifications, codes, and industry standards
Work in other crafts at levels appropriate to training and skills as requested by project supervision
Install rough framing for structures and buildings
Build and set concrete forms
Install doors, windows, and interior trim
Erect scaffolding and temporary structures
Repair and replace damaged wooden components
