As a member of the branch production team, you will be responsible for the performance of work within a particular work area and in accordance with generally accepted standards of the crafts. Duties involve laying bricks using mortar as a binder and a trowel to level. You will work safely on scaffolds and swing stages at various heights.

Prepare surfaces by cutting and/or grinding out problem areas of walls and floors. Cut out, repair, prep, pack and caulk joints of walls and floors. Spray, brush, roll or apply material to surfaces of walls and floors as specified.

May be required to rig mobile and stationary scaffolding in accordance with corporate guidelines. Use equipment and tools effectively to perform basic construction tasks. This role supports restoration and preservation work for America's Master Craftsmen.

Requirements

  • Experience in a trade or craft preferred
  • Demonstrate sufficient reading, writing and math skills to comprehend and explain company safety policies and material instruction
  • Use logical step-by-step procedures in working with different materials using a variety of skills
  • Work within precise limits or standards of accuracy and judge straight lines, spaces and proportions
  • Identify existing and predictable hazards in work surroundings, including unsanitary, hazardous or dangerous conditions
  • Physically stand or walk for long periods; lift and carry materials weighing 50 pounds or more; climb and maintain balance on ladders, scaffolds carrying tools and equipment; see well naturally or with correction
  • Ability to work at heights, extreme temperatures and wear company’s safety equipment
  • Must have own hand tools of the trade and reliable transportation
