About this role
Our Healthy Homes Team is looking for an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician (Bricklayer) to join their team. This is a great opportunity to make a difference to customers by conducting quality repairs such as bricklaying, roofing and plastering. Offer advice and guidance in relation to damp and mould.
Undertake roofing, plastering, bricklaying and ground works in line with relevant C&G qualifications, British Standards, and industry best practices. Complete building-related documentation and carry out basic assessments of the building fabric. Identify and report issues such as damp or structural concerns.
We own and manage c.7,500 homes in the east of England, working closely with other agencies and stakeholders within our communities. Build on good foundations as a customer-centric organisation investing in existing homes, including our zero-carbon journey, as well as building new homes.

Requirements
- Experience in plastering, bricklaying and roofing in a maintenance environment
- Competent user of I.T.
- Full UK driving licence
- Great customer care skills
- Ability to work on own initiative
Responsibilities
- Undertake roofing, plastering, bricklaying and ground works to relevant C&G qualifications, British Standards, and industry best practices
- Complete building-related documentation and carry out basic assessments of the building fabric, including identifying and reporting damp or structural concerns
- Diagnose faults and rectify effectively with repairs carried out on first visit wherever possible
- Provide clear information on additional works required, including work, duration and materials
- Undertake basic works of other trades relative to work undertaken or as directed by line manager
