About this role

We’re looking for an experienced Health & Safety professional to support the safety and wellbeing of our 4,000 colleagues. Reporting to the Health & Safety Manager, this role plays a key part in providing guidance across the business and maintaining high standards of safety. The successful candidate will take ownership of health and safety documentation, data, reporting, and investigation ensuring everything is accurate, consistent, and compliant with internal process. Daily responsibilities include reviewing accident and incident reports to ensure investigations are proportionate and statutory reporting obligations are fulfilled. They will also develop guidance materials and design and deliver training supporting colleagues to follow safe working processes.

The role involves conducting inspections and safety reviews, promoting consistent practices across teams, and embedding Clarion’s safety culture from the outset. A strong emphasis will be placed on enhancing data capture and driving continuous improvement. This is a hybrid role with base locations at Stevenage – Kings Court or Norwich – Reed House.

Keep up to date with legislation and best practice, sharing relevant updates to support a proactive approach throughout the team and wider business. Applicants must be able to undertake national travel and have access to their own vehicle as required, with travel expenses reimbursed.

Requirements

  • Hold a NEBOSH Level 3 Certificate (or equivalent)
  • Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation
  • Confident applying knowledge in a repairs environment
  • Solid understanding of risk management
  • Ability to work within established policies and procedures
