About this role

Plans, coordinates, and supervises field operations of projects. Provides technical direction and is responsible for safety, costs, productivity, profitability, and overall quality of the work, including self-performed work. Oversees field operations for power-related construction initiatives.

Coordinates the means and methods, manpower, equipment, and material resources required to accomplish goals. Develops and manages the construction plan with the project manager for successful execution. Ensures project superintendents identify the most efficient flow of work to maintain highest production for all trades.

Works closely with project team, superintendents, and subcontractors to coordinate schedules for monthly updates. Oversees development of CPM project schedule and procurement process aligned with timelines. Ensures timely completion of punch lists for owner-required start-up and commissioning of systems.

Participates in business development proposals and presentations. Responsible for understanding prime contract terms, contract documents, subcontract agreements, and purchase order agreements. Joins a 100% employee-owned contractor culture where team members are deeply invested in their work.

Requirements

  • 10+ years' construction project supervision
  • BS Degree in construction related field
  • Proficient use of all Microsoft Office Suite programs
  • Projects worked in excess of $200 million in size
  • Understanding of prime contract terms and conditions, contract documents, subcontract agreements, purchase order agreements
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment including steel toed shoes, gloves, safety glasses, hardhat
  • Ability to climb stairs, ladders, stoop, kneel, or bend on occasional basis
  • Safety-Sensitive role requiring compliance with all safety standards and procedures

  • Oversees procurement process with project team for coordination and alignment with CPM schedule
  • Oversees timely completion of all punch lists and develops schedule for owner-required start-up and commissioning
  • Participates in business development proposals and presentations
