The Project Manager manages project timelines and budgets while creating technical solutions and construction methods from design concepts. Lead onsite management for greater NY jobs with 40-50% local travel and 15-20% out of market. Complete daily progress reports including crew attendance, photos, and metrics. Oversee project prep in Hauppauge warehouse for tools, materials, and equipment.

Coordinate with clients, building departments, and fire marshals for walkthroughs and sign-offs to confirm code compliance. Ensure crews follow safety orientations, regulations, and use proper PPE. Actively communicate with management, warehouse, and CAD teams for schedules and drawings.

Requirements

Hands-on experience related to Scheduling, Written and Verbal Communication, and general construction practices
Ability to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail
Highly organized
Willing to travel locally (40-50%) and out of market (15-20%)
Knowledge of safety regulations and PPE requirements
Familiarity with construction methods for temporary structures and staging
Experience with project cost estimates and logistics coordination

Responsibilities

Lead onsite project management for all greater NY based jobs (approx 40-50% out of office)
Complete daily progress reports with crew attendance, photos, and completion metrics
Conduct site visits as needed for greater NY area jobs
Travel out of market as needed (approx 15-20%)
Accompany clients, building dept, fire marshals on walkthroughs for inspections and sign-offs
Oversee project prep in Hauppauge warehouse including tools, hardware, materials
Manage job specific purchasing and procurement
Coordinate and review technical drawings and assembly/installation drawings with CAD and foreman
