Flynn Calgary is seeking a Glazing Project Manager to oversee on-site administrative and technical management for construction projects. This role ensures total constructive efforts align with plans and specifications while communicating effectively with all parties involved.

Day-to-day responsibilities include managing budgets and financial aspects using an internal forecasting portal, and tracking projects through a Project Information Lifecycle program. The Project Manager serves as the main point of contact, coordinates with safety teams and foremen, and leads project kickoffs, handovers, and autopsy meetings.

Requirements

5 years’ experience as a Project Manager in a construction environment
Strong relationship building and negotiation skills
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, delegate, and meet tight deadlines
Ability to problem solve
Excellent communication skills
Organization and time management skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Post-secondary education in Civil Engineering Technology or Architectural Technology is an asset

Responsibilities

Manage budget and all financial aspects of projects in our internal forecasting portal (PFP)
Track projects in our Project Information Lifecycle program (PIL)
Serve as main point of contact for assigned projects
Work with Safety and Foreman to ensure all safety measures are in place
Establish and maintain relationships with internal teams, external suppliers and customers
Identify potential conflicts and negotiate best solutions
Lead project kickoffs, handovers, and autopsy meetings with the project team
Communicate with the project team on a daily basis
