Flynn Calgary is seeking a Glazing Project Manager to oversee on-site administrative and technical management for construction projects. This role ensures total constructive efforts align with plans and specifications while communicating effectively with all parties involved.
Day-to-day responsibilities include managing budgets and financial aspects using an internal forecasting portal, and tracking projects through a Project Information Lifecycle program. The Project Manager serves as the main point of contact, coordinates with safety teams and foremen, and leads project kickoffs, handovers, and autopsy meetings.

Requirements
- 5 years’ experience as a Project Manager in a construction environment
- Strong relationship building and negotiation skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, delegate, and meet tight deadlines
- Ability to problem solve
- Excellent communication skills
- Organization and time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Post-secondary education in Civil Engineering Technology or Architectural Technology is an asset
Responsibilities
- Manage budget and all financial aspects of projects in our internal forecasting portal (PFP)
- Track projects in our Project Information Lifecycle program (PIL)
- Serve as main point of contact for assigned projects
- Work with Safety and Foreman to ensure all safety measures are in place
- Establish and maintain relationships with internal teams, external suppliers and customers
- Identify potential conflicts and negotiate best solutions
- Lead project kickoffs, handovers, and autopsy meetings with the project team
- Communicate with the project team on a daily basis
