H&K Group, Inc. is seeking a Portable Crushing Plant Operator/Crusher Mechanic to join its Materials Division. This role involves traveling to different job sites to operate heavy machinery and crush site material in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will be organized, self-motivated, and professional, with strong experience in trackhoe operation and equipment maintenance.

Day-to-day responsibilities include operating a Q326 trackhoe and LT105 portable crusher to process material on site. You will also be responsible for maintaining equipment such as the Q326, LT105, and a pickup truck, as well as identifying site needs and developing efficient work plans. Teamwork is essential, as you will collaborate with crew members to complete jobs safely and on schedule.

This position offers a dynamic work environment where you will travel to various outdoor locations, often working in loud conditions and exposed to weather and moving mechanical parts. Requirements

Extensive trackhoe operations experience
Experience with equipment maintenance and repair
Proficient written communication skills
Leadership and teamwork abilities
Self-motivated and organized work style
Safety-focused mindset with ability to fit test and use PPE as needed
Ability to meet physical requirements including movement and lifting relevant to the role
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) from an accredited institution

Responsibilities

Perform all work according to OSHA, MSHA, and H&K Safety policies
Create a safe worksite and maintain a safety-focused environment
Operate Q326 trackhoe and LT105 portable crusher to crush site material
Maintain equipment including Q326, LT105, and pickup truck
Identify site needs and develop a plan to complete the job efficiently
Work with team members to coordinate on-site tasks and meet deadlines
Clean, pack up, and help transport equipment between job sites
Perform other duties as assigned to support project completion
