About this role

At Corps, a family-owned civil construction company in the Pilbara region, we specialize in earthworks, roadworks, civil construction, sand delivery and cartage. Due to continued growth, we seek a qualified Project Manager to join the team. This role offers accountability for a portfolio of projects across the North West.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will lead, source, monitor, develop and assist the team to apply best project practices. Ensure satisfactory achievement of targets and requirements for internal and external clients. Focus on project review processes, tender handovers and contract understanding.

Build effective long-term relationships with clients, sub-contractors and suppliers. Lead teams to achieve exemplary safety outcomes and maintain a positive workforce culture. Work with diverse projects in a supportive environment, FIFO from Perth to Karratha or residential.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working in a project management role within the civil industry, managing multiple projects
  • Proven engineering experience with specific exposure to NPI projects and contract management disciplines
  • Ability to lead the project management function and provide guidance and support to on-site teams
  • Extensive experience in directing complex, high value or multiple projects
  • Engineering or Construction Management degree or similar

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership to maintain a positive workforce culture
  • Implement and run project review process
  • Support the tendering process and ensure effective handover from tender to start-up stage
  • Build and develop effective long-term relationships with clients, sub-contractors and suppliers
  • Develop and retain people to produce high quality project outcomes
  • Ensure project margins are managed pro-actively
  • Lead the teams to achieve exemplary safety outcomes
  • Develop, maintain and report a summarised view of relevant risks and opportunities in your portfolio
