Designs and erects various types of scaffolds daily. Lead Carpenter acts as a mentor and coach to Scaffold E&D Carpenters to aid their development. Required to work with tools and manage a small crew under the supervision of an E&D Foreman.

Safely manage crew to erect and dismantle scaffolding on site. Demonstrate good knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations regarding scaffolding. Understand various scaffolding materials to ensure loads are not exceeded.

Requirements

Scaffold E&D Carpenter for a minimum of 2 years or approved equivalent experience
Ability to work comfortably and safely at considerable heights
Safely and effectively manage a small crew under supervision of an E&D Foreman
Good knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations regarding scaffolding
Good knowledge and understanding of various types of scaffolding material and load limits
Knowledge and use of various types of scaffolding materials
Some trade school preferred but not required
Bilingual a plus
