Our Civil Group seeks an experienced Traveling Foreman for civil construction operations, ideal for a hands-on leader with strong field experience.

This role involves supervising field crew members including carpenters and laborers while assisting with project operations. Support site leadership to execute daily work safely and efficiently, and assist with site logistics planning alongside the Project Manager. Coordinate daily work plans, labor, and equipment needs for civil projects like concrete flatwork and drilled shafts.

Develop positive relationships with owners, subcontractors, and vendors while promoting a safe environment compliant with OSHA and company standards. Coordinate with supervisory staff, engineers, and inspectors to resolve challenges and improve methods. Work closely as part of an IBEW contractor team, though no electrical work is involved.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of related experience on large-scale civil, transmission, energy, or similar construction projects
  • Proven self-perform experience in civil construction
  • Strong leadership and crew supervision skills
  • IBEW membership required
  • OSHA 30-hour Card preferred
  • Proficiency with Outlook, Excel, and Word is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support field crew members, including carpenters and laborers, while assisting with overall project operations
  • Support site leadership in executing daily work activities safely and efficiently
  • Assist with project site logistics planning and work closely with the Project Manager on construction methods and sequencing
  • Coordinate daily work plans, labor, and equipment needs
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with owners, subcontractors, and vendors
  • Promote a safe working environment and ensure compliance with company safety standards and OSHA regulations
  • Coordinate with supervisory staff, engineers, and inspectors to resolve construction challenges and improve work methods
