Your day-to-day involves laying bricks, blocks, and materials according to blueprints, drawings, and specifications. Mix and prepare mortar or bonding agents while ensuring proper alignment, spacing, and level. Cut, shape, and trim bricks or stones to fit specific measurements or designs.

Build and repair walls, chimneys, foundations, patios, and other structures. Work with construction professionals such as carpenters, masons, and laborers. Follow safety protocols, inspect sites for quality and compliance with building codes, and maintain tools and records.

Requirements

Proven experience as a mason bricklayer or similar role in construction
Knowledge of masonry techniques, materials, and tools
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
Strong understanding of building codes and safety regulations
Physical strength and stamina to work in various weather conditions and lift heavy materials
Attention to detail and ability to perform precise work
