Requirements
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety certification
- Experience in safety management on industrial construction sites
- Knowledge of safety standards for high-temperature refractory work
- Ability to perform hazard identification and risk assessments
- Familiarity with federal, state, and local construction safety regulations
- Proficiency in incident investigation and reporting
- Understanding of personal protective equipment requirements for construction
Responsibilities
- Conduct daily site safety inspections to identify hazards on construction sites
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and other safety regulations for refractory installations
- Deliver safety orientations and toolbox talks to construction workers
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses with root cause analysis
- Develop and implement site-specific safety plans for high-temperature operations
- Monitor personal protective equipment usage and enforce safety protocols
- Maintain accurate safety records and documentation for audits
- Collaborate with site supervisors to mitigate risks in industrial environments
