Requirements

  • OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety certification
  • Experience in safety management on industrial construction sites
  • Knowledge of safety standards for high-temperature refractory work
  • Ability to perform hazard identification and risk assessments
  • Familiarity with federal, state, and local construction safety regulations
  • Proficiency in incident investigation and reporting
  • Understanding of personal protective equipment requirements for construction

Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily site safety inspections to identify hazards on construction sites
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and other safety regulations for refractory installations
  • Deliver safety orientations and toolbox talks to construction workers
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses with root cause analysis
  • Develop and implement site-specific safety plans for high-temperature operations
  • Monitor personal protective equipment usage and enforce safety protocols
  • Maintain accurate safety records and documentation for audits
  • Collaborate with site supervisors to mitigate risks in industrial environments
