About this role
We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee the fit-out of hyperscale data center white space within colocation environments. This role is responsible for managing all aspects of tenant fit-out construction, including coordination of trades, sequencing of work, quality control, and delivery of mission-critical infrastructure. The ideal candidate has strong construction management experience in data centers.
Lead on-site construction management for data center white space fit-out projects, such as tenants within colocation facilities. Oversee installation of hot aisle/cold aisle containment systems, overhead cable tray systems and ladder rack conveyance, structural support systems for cabinets and racks, and cooling infrastructure including HAC units. Manage trade contractors and ensure proper sequencing of work to maintain schedule and avoid conflicts.
Coordinate with general contractors, subcontractors, and client stakeholders. Enforce quality control processes to ensure installations meet design specifications, load requirements, and industry standards. Monitor project schedule, budget, and progress while proactively identifying and resolving risks and issues.

This position is based in the Atlanta metro area and works onsite for local data center projects. Approximately 50% travel outside of the Georgia area should be expected at times. Ensure compliance with safety standards and site protocols while reviewing construction drawings, submittals, RFIs, and shop drawings.
Requirements
- Strong construction management experience in data centers
- Solid understanding of white space infrastructure such as containment systems
- Solid understanding of overhead conveyance including ladder racks and cable tray systems
- Solid understanding of structural support frameworks
- Solid understanding of cooling components including HACs
- Familiarity with structured cabling systems including low voltage and fiber
- Experience reviewing construction drawings, submittals, RFIs, and shop drawings related to supports and overhead systems
- Knowledge of verifying proper installation tolerances, anchoring, and support systems
