Cardo Group is a leading provider of building maintenance and improvement services to social housing providers across the UK. We deliver retrofit upgrades, responsive repairs, compliance servicing, refurbishments, and planned maintenance. Join our Caerphilly team as a Bricklayer to construct and repair walls, buildings, and chimneys using bricks and blocks.
The role involves measuring surfaces, mixing mortar, laying materials in rows or patterns, cutting bricks to fit openings, and using hand and power tools. You will repair existing brick structures while following safety procedures. Attention to detail ensures high-quality work that improves homes.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an apprenticeship program or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of bricklaying techniques and materials
- Physical stamina and strength to lift and move heavy materials
- Attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Measure and mark surfaces to be covered with bricks or other materials
- Mix mortar and spread it onto surfaces to be covered
- Lay bricks or other materials in rows, patterns, or designs
- Cut or trim bricks and other materials to fit around windows, doors, and other openings
- Use hand and power tools to cut and shape bricks and other materials
- Repair and maintain existing brick structures
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines at all times
