We provide commercial carpentry, overhead doors, building restoration, and more across coverage from New Orleans to Southern Virginia. Join our team as a dedicated Facilities Carpenter making repairs in retail stores.

Perform commercial carpentry repairs focusing on all types of interior finishes including sheetrock, suspended ceilings, carpet, ceramic tile, and FRP. Handle steel frame doors, door hardware, commercial casework, and store fixtures. Commercial construction experience supports success in these hands-on tasks.

Work as a self-starter, reliable team player with computer and smartphone skills, good with paperwork systems. Demonstrate strong problem-solving and excellent people skills in a collaborative environment. Occasional travel requires flexibility, with hotel and per diem provided.

Enjoy an hourly position with 40 hours a week and W2 employment. Some overtime and 24/7 on-call service apply. Benefit from company vehicle, attire, health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and ongoing training opportunities.

Requirements

  • Experience required in all types of interior finishes: sheetrock, suspended ceilings, carpet, ceramic tile and FRP
  • Experience with steel frame doors, door hardware, commercial casework, and store fixtures
  • Commercial construction experience desired
  • Self-starter, reliable, team player
  • Computer and smartphone skills, good with paperwork systems
  • Good problem solver with excellent people skills

Responsibilities

  • Make repairs in retail stores as a commercial carpenter
  • Install and repair interior finishes including sheetrock, suspended ceilings, carpet, ceramic tile, and FRP
  • Work on steel frame doors, door hardware, commercial casework, and store fixtures
  • Handle occasional travel with hotel and per diem provided
  • Participate in some overtime work
  • Provide 24/7 on-call service as required
