The Construction Manager oversees construction of homes in assigned communities, ensuring quality control, cost management, and adherence to schedules. This role manages job sites from inception to move-in.
Daily responsibilities include conducting twice-daily home walks to monitor progress and quality standards. Supervise trade partners, schedule activities, and handle pre-construction, pre-drywall, and final presentation meetings. Manage communications, invoice approvals through Build Pro, and negotiate solutions with inspectors.
Collaborate with internal teams like sales, customer care, and management for effective problem resolution. Provide feedback to Lead Construction Manager on trade partners' performance. Ensure job site cleanliness, safety, and compliance with State & Federal building codes.

Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required, college degree preferred, or 3-5 years' experience in home building/construction
- Experience in residential construction management required
- Strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills
- Tech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office, Build Pro, Procore, and other construction management software
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record
- Valid auto insurance coverage
- Knowledge of construction practices
Responsibilities

- Manage daily trade partner communications and invoice approvals through Build Pro
- Provide trade partner feedback to Lead Construction Manager concerning timeliness and attention to detail
- Ensure job site cleanliness, safety, and adherence to State & Federal building codes
- Perform Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan inspections and maintain accurate records
