Solar Landscape is the leading commercial rooftop solar developer in the U.S., turning rooftops into local power plants. We seek a highly experienced Senior Construction Manager to provide day-to-day operational oversight of multiple commercial rooftop solar projects and Construction Managers. This hands-on leader enforces processes, maintains quality, and drives schedule performance across job sites.

Conduct routine site visits, field audits, and review production reports to ensure safety, quality, and productivity. Enforce standardized construction processes, conduct quality audits on penetrations, flashing, racking, and electrical work. Hold teams accountable to schedules, identify risks, and implement recovery plans.

Partner closely with Project Managers to align field execution with scope, budget, and client commitments. Maintain consistent documentation like QA/QC checklists and photo records. Foster a 'no surprises' communication culture across teams.

Requirements

  • Deep rooftop solar expertise
  • Strong leadership capability for field teams
  • Disciplined, process-driven approach to construction management
  • Experience ensuring compliance with NEC requirements, fire setbacks, and roof warranty standards
  • Proficiency in quality audits for rooftop penetrations, flashing, racking, and electrical installations
  • Ability to review and validate 2-4 week look-ahead plans
  • Skill in identifying execution gaps and driving corrective actions
  • Hands-on experience with commercial rooftop solar projects

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct oversight and leadership to field Construction Managers

  • Review weekly production reports and look-ahead schedules
  • Enforce standardized construction processes and installation best practices
  • Conduct quality audits on rooftop penetrations, flashing, racking, and electrical installations
  • Hold Construction Managers accountable to project schedules
  • Partner closely with Project Managers to align field execution with contract scope and budget
  • Escalate issues early to avoid client or financial impacts
