Plan, lay-out and perform all types of Carpentry work in accordance with all applicable plans, specifications, codes, and industry standards. Work in other crafts at levels appropriate to training and skills as requested by project supervision. Driven by skill, grit and purpose.

Requirements

  • Journeyman level carpentry skills and training
  • Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and blueprints
  • Knowledge of building codes and industry standards
  • Proficiency with carpentry hand and power tools
  • Experience performing layout and measurements
  • Capability to work at heights and in various conditions
  • Understanding of safety protocols in construction
  • Physical ability to handle demanding labor

Responsibilities

  • Plan and lay out carpentry work according to applicable plans and specifications
  • Perform all types of carpentry work in compliance with codes and industry standards
  • Install framing, sheathing, and structural components
  • Build and set concrete forms and shoring
  • Erect scaffolding and temporary structures
  • Apply finish carpentry including trim, doors, and windows
  • Operate hand and power tools for carpentry tasks
  • Assist in other crafts as requested by project supervision
