About this role

Champion is seeking a Carpenter / Measure Technician responsible for accurately measuring the customer’s home for installations and completing service jobs to ensure customer satisfaction. This role focuses on hands-on home improvement tasks in a national company that designs, builds, installs, and guarantees its products. You will directly interact with homeowners to meet their needs.

Day-to-day duties include measuring for products at customer homes and repairing windows, siding, and sunrooms. You will order and track repair and installation services while assisting management with reporting and communication as requested. All work must be performed safely in compliance with federal, state, and local laws.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED preferred, construction trade school a plus
  • 3 to 5 years in home improvement or construction involving carpentry, roofing, and window installation
  • Experience in the use of a brake and other hand tools such as utility knife, hammer, deglazing tools, etc.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Math skills including using a tape measure and angles
  • Clean driving record and valid driver’s license

Responsibilities
