Strescon Limited, established in 1963, is the largest precast, pre-stressed concrete manufacturer in Eastern Canada. It serves markets in the Atlantic Provinces, New England, and Bermuda with products like bridge girders, wall panels, parking garages, hollow-core planking, piling, and deck slabs. Carpenters read blueprints, lift and move materials for construction, and build forms for precast concrete products. They keep work areas clean of debris and handle other tasks as needed. Daily work supports production at precast facilities.

Strescon operates a 70,000 sq. ft. facility in Saint John, New Brunswick, a 50,000 sq. ft. site in Bedford, Nova Scotia, and a 32,000 sq. ft. plant for drainage products like pipe, manholes, and catch basins. As part of the OSCO Construction Group, it employs over twelve hundred workers across steel, concrete, construction, and corporate sectors.
