Aggregates Plant Operator II

Under the supervision of the plant manager, the Aggregates Plant Operator II operates crusher equipment and performs lubrications, inspections, and maintenance. This role ensures the area and equipment remain clean, clear of debris, and in good working order.

Daily tasks include monitoring conveyors and moving components, checking material flow, and inspecting belts, head pulleys, dust collectors, and oil levels. The operator adjusts screens, conveyors, and fans to control product size or grade and maintain uniform material flow.

The operator assists in maintaining crushers, hammer mills, screens, and chutes, and communicates to direct truck movement. A strong emphasis is placed on maintaining a safe working environment by adhering to safety policies, performing daily housekeeping and workplace inspections, and following MSHA safety rules.
