This role involves assisting bridge carpenters with construction duties, performing tasks as needed, and ensuring timely project completion. Daily work requires physical exertion, including shoveling dirt, sand, asphalt, or concrete using shovels, and cutting trees or vegetation with ditch blades, sling blades, chain saws, or power weed trimmers. Employees drive stakes, break concrete with sledge hammers, and operate hand-driven compaction devices. Tasks also include handling, stacking, and moving formwork and materials while keeping the jobsite clean and orderly.
Assist others during concrete placements, traffic control, and prefabrication tasks, performing shoveling, raking, and demolition as required. Work safely within company guidelines and handle any other tasks assigned by the supervisor. The role demands flexibility for various labor activities in road and site construction.

Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience working in bridge construction or a similar field
- Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
- Driving license (preferred)
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 60 pounds
- Use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms
- Climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or walk
- Stand and walk frequently
- Specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception
Responsibilities

- Keep jobsite clean and orderly by cleaning and stacking materials not in use
- Perform shoveling, raking, and demolition work as required
- Assist others during concrete placements, traffic control, and prefabrication tasks
