About this role

The MEP Construction Manager is responsible for overseeing all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing aspects of a construction project. This role ensures that MEP systems are installed correctly, efficiently, and in accordance with design specifications, safety standards, and project timelines.

Daily work involves managing and coordinating all MEP installation activities on-site while reviewing drawings, specifications, and project documents. The manager supervises subcontractors, suppliers, and technicians to maintain steady progress.

Collaboration with design consultants, architects, structural teams, and civil engineers resolves conflicts and technical issues. Regular site inspections confirm that workmanship meets quality standards and that materials arrive on schedule.

Progress is tracked against the project schedule with reports prepared for stakeholders. The role also covers testing, commissioning, and handover of completed MEP systems to ensure full compliance.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in construction.
  • Ability to interpret MEP drawings and project specifications.
  • Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Experience supervising subcontractors and site technicians.
  • Skill in coordinating with design consultants and engineering teams.
