About this role

Linxon is hiring an experienced Electrical Site Manager to oversee and lead electrical construction activities at project sites in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. In this role, you will be responsible for the successful execution of all electrical activities and installations in a high-voltage substation.

Your day-to-day involves planning, organizing, and monitoring all electrical construction and assembly activities on site. You will ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, create detailed assembly sequences, and coordinate with subcontractors to meet key milestones and the overall project plan.

You will work closely with engineering, procurement, and project management teams to align construction work with project goals. Regular site inspections and quality audits are conducted to ensure work meets Linxon standards, and you will prepare method statements, risk assessments, and other project documentation.

Requirements

  • Completed university degree in electrical engineering, energy engineering, or a comparable field
  • Proven experience in site management, preferably in energy or infrastructure projects
  • Knowledge of German construction regulations and standards
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office
  • Fluent German required, English skills desirable

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and monitor all electrical construction and assembly activities on construction sites in Baden-Württemberg, Germany
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations as well as Linxon safety standards
  • Create and monitor detailed assembly sequences and planning with subcontractors, respecting key milestones and the overall project plan
  • Promptly issue defect notices to subcontractors and approve corrective actions
  • Instruct subcontractors on daily work packages and escalate to the project team if targets are repeatedly not met
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project management teams to align construction work with overall project goals
  • Conduct regular site inspections and quality audits to ensure work execution meets Linxon standards
  • Prepare and review method statements, risk assessments, and other project documentation
